Terms of service

Use Viva Talk responsibly

These Terms describe the rules for using Viva Talk, a beta realtime translation service operated by Vixiv Agency.

Last updated: August 13, 2026. By opening, accessing, or using Viva Talk, you agree to these Terms. If you use Viva Talk for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that use.

1. The service

Viva Talk provides AI-assisted realtime translation for Viva Talk rooms and Zoom conversations, including translated audio and subtitles. The service supports a tested catalog of 25 languages plus 25 additional languages under the Other option. Each participant selects one language for both speaking and listening.

Viva Talk is in beta. Features, supported languages, accuracy, availability, latency, and pricing may change as the service develops.

2. Meeting consent and responsibility

You are responsible for using Viva Talk lawfully and for obtaining any consent required from meeting participants before processing or translating their speech. You must follow Zoom’s rules, your organization’s policies, and the laws that apply to recording, monitoring, transcription, biometric information, personal data, and cross-border processing.

The organizer controls when Viva Talk starts processing meeting audio. Do not start translation in a meeting unless you are authorized to do so and participants have received any notice required in your circumstances.

3. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate information needed to create and maintain your account.
  • Keep account access and authentication links private.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account or a translation session was accessed without permission.
  • Do not attempt to bypass session controls, access another account, interfere with the service, or reverse engineer protected components.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Viva Talk to violate law or third-party rights; transmit malware; facilitate harassment, fraud, impersonation, or unauthorized surveillance; test security without permission; or process content that you do not have the right to submit.

We may limit, suspend, or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, address security incidents, or prevent harm to the service.

5. Credits, purchases, and usage

Viva Talk credits are digital, prepaid usage units for translation, subtitles, transcription, summaries, and related features. The standard rate is 1 credit per minute for one language pair. For Zoom, 2 languages use 1 credit per minute and 3 languages use 2 credits per minute during active speech; idle time, RTMS waiting, and RTMS reconnecting are not charged. Other room and Zoom configurations use the rates described in the Product guide. The checkout flow displays available packages and prices before payment.

The room or Zoom organizer’s account pays for active usage. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, resold, or shared between accounts. Credits may only be used through Viva Talk and do not expire unless an expiry date is clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Credits are added automatically after verified payment, normally within 5 minutes. Credit purchases are final. We currently do not offer refunds, cancellations, or exchanges after purchase, including for unused credits. If you paid but your credits were not delivered, contact support@vixiv-agency.com with your account email and payment transaction ID so we can investigate the delivery issue.

Payment may be completed through the provider displayed at checkout. Contact us if a balance, payment reference, or duplicate charge appears incorrect. We may restrict accounts involved in fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or attempts to resell credits.

6. Accuracy and high-stakes use

AI translation can misunderstand speech, names, numbers, accents, context, or specialized terminology. Languages available under Other may be less accurate or less consistent than the tested language catalog. You are responsible for checking important translations.

Do not rely on Viva Talk as the sole means of communication for emergencies, medical care, legal advice, financial decisions, safety-critical work, or any situation where an incorrect translation could cause harm.

7. Privacy and third-party services

Your use of Viva Talk is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Viva Talk depends on third-party services, including Zoom, Cloudflare, OpenAI, email delivery, and payment providers. Their services may have separate terms, policies, availability, and limitations.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

Vixiv Agency and its licensors own Viva Talk, its software, branding, documentation, and service design. These Terms give you a limited, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.

You retain rights in content you submit and are responsible for having the rights needed to process it. If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to improve Viva Talk without owing you compensation.

9. Disclaimers and limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viva Talk is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free translation, a specific latency, or a particular business result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vixiv Agency is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when Viva Talk, the law, or the way the service operates changes. The updated version will be published here with a new date. If you do not agree with an update, stop using Viva Talk.
